The mission of the Grandparent's Council is to encourage grandparent support and volunteerism at Shorecrest.
The Grandparent's Council encourages grandparents to get involved at Shorecrest and get to know each other. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Shorecrest from volunteering in the library, to helping with the Lower School gardening program, helping with art or athletic activities and more. Click here to see a list of volunteer opportunities.

The Council organizes several social and learning activities during the school year including Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Attendees enjoy getting to know fellow grandparents and learning more about Shorecrest.

Upcoming activities include:
  • January 10: Grandparent coffee and tour of Shorecrest’s Native Classroom (outdoors) by its designer and creator, 10th grader Walker W.
  • January 27: 33rd annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day
