Endowment - Strengthening our Mission, Investing in our Future

Endowment funds help provide quality education to students in perpetuity. These funds will fuel critical priorities at Shorecrest not covered by tuition, ensuring the school's financial security and allowing for strategic long-term planning. They are permanent assets invested to support financial aid and scholarships, faculty development, academic and arts programs, and facilities needs—now and for the future.

The Shorecrest Board of Trustees has prioritized the following endowment initiatives to align with the school's strategic plan:

Faculty Development

Shorecrest recognizes that a vital and energized faculty is the hallmark of an exceptional independent school. Endowment gifts nourish and strengthen our faculty by providing professional development and growth opportunities such as workshops, seminars and advanced studies.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

To achieve our strategic goals as a diverse community, we must open our doors to those deserving students in our own neighborhoods whose families are unable to fully bear the cost of tuition by providing the necessary support to bring a Shorecrest education within reach.

Facilities

Much work has been done to complete a campus master plan intended to address both the near-term and longer-term facilities needs of the school. Plans support strategic priorities such as global programs, project-based learning and providing environments that support the acquisition of critical twenty-first century skills.

Gifts to endowment are transformational, and offer an exceptional opportunity to change the course of the school. To share your vision of how your gift night make that change, contact Adrianne Finley Odell, Assistant Head of School: afinleyodell@shorecrest.org.
