Welcome to the Parent Information Page
Clinic / School Nurse
For those of you who are new to Shorecrest, my name is Marie Confident and I am the school nurse. The clinic is located behind the Spanish classrooms in the Lower Division. I am available during school hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. I would love to hear from you if your child has any significant medical history or allergies.
The clinic has the following over the counter medications in stock: Tylenol, Motrin, Tums, Benadryl and throat lozenges. I will gladly give medication sent from home, but it has to be in its original container; and if it is a prescription, it has to be labeled with the student's name, medication name, dosage, and when to administer. Also, the parent has to fill out and sign a form for any medication administration.
If you haven't turned in your child's physical and immunizations form, you will be receiving a call from me soon to remind you, especially if your child is in Kindergarten or seventh grade as it is a requirement of the State of Florida.
I can be reached at ext. 165 or via e-mail at mconfident@shorecrest.org.
Please visit the Clinic Information Page.
Parent Volunteering
With the start of the new school year, it's time to get the volunteer efforts organized. For all of you who have sent in your volunteer sheets, thank you. If you have not yet turned in a Volunteer Opportunities Form (Microsoft Word format) (PDF), there's still time. Please send it in today to the Admissions Office.
Should you have any questions, please call Lisa Wikholm at (727) 456-7511 or e-mail Lwikholm@shorecrest.org
The Learning Center (TLC) Absence Procedures
If you meet with an academic coach (tutor) and you are going to be absent from school, please contact the academic coach or Jean Carnes by phone or e-mail to let him/her know you will not be attending the tutorial session that day.
If the academic coach comes to Shorecrest to meet with you and you are absent without notification, you will be charged for the session. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail Jean Carnes at 727-456-7528 or jeca@shorecrest.org. Thank you.

Together we can raise $20,000 per year by simply collecting box tops.
It's simple and it's quick:
- Clip specially marked box tops located on participating General Mills products.
- You or your child drop them in the marked bins located in each division and in the library.
- SPA will return the boxtops to General Mills in exchange for a check worth 10 cents per box top - up to $20,000!
Find out more about this program that has already returned over $200 million to schools at www.boxtops4education.com
