Early Childhood Program
Schedule
A typical morning's schedule includes four main components: circle
time, exploratorium, class centers, and outside time.
Circle is the official start of the day and includes such activities
as the pledge to the flag, songs, calendar and talk about the day's
plans.
Exploratorium is a free choice time in our shared rooms.
It is set up in centers and areas for socio-dramatic play, building,
manipulative materials, tactile play, art materials, books, and
a variety of skill or theme related materials. The activities and
materials in the exploratorium are rotated to relate to the the
children's interests and current topics and themes. Each class
spends approximately 45-60 minutes in the exploratorium each day.
