The Annual Fund
Shorecrest prepares students for productive lives and leadership roles through a program that focuses on academic excellence, extracurricular participation and service to others. As is the case with most independent schools, tuition does not cover the entire cost of a Shorecrest education. Gifts to the Annual Fund bridge the gap between tuition income and operating expenses every year. Your Annual Fund gift is a tax deductible charitable contribution; tuition increases are not.
The Tradition
Shorecrest enjoys a tradition of strong support for its Annual Fund. For the past several years, 85% of Shorecrest families have made a gift that directly benefits our students. The strength of our Annual Fund comes from the collective participation of parents, alumni, grandparents, trustees, faculty and staff.

Donations to the Annual Fund allow for technology upgrades, faculty professional development, arts and humanities programs, athletics and financial stability.

How Gifts can be made to the Annual Fund
Gift Recognition Levels
Shorecrest wishes to recognize those individuals, families, businesses and organizations that provide financial leadership support to the school each year with the following gift recognition levels.
The 1923 Society recognizes Shorecrest's most generous donors. The donors collectively conribute more than 80% of the total giving to the school. Membership in the 1923 society is open to those persons making a gift of $1,500 or more to Shorecrest on an annual basis. This gift recognition program is the mainstay of this school's Annual Giving Program. Members of the 1923 Society will be guests at an event hosted by the Deans of the 1923 Society in the spring of each year. The 1923 Society consists of the following giving levels: Founder's Council, Chairman's Club, Trustee Association and the Headmaster's Council
