A Campus in Progress

When school reopened after Spring Break 2018, our campus exhibited early signs of the first phase of construction for Transform. Students and families will notice new fences and a number of staff offices in new locations, including Admissions, Advancement, Business Office and Headmaster's Office.

Construction commenced on May 24 to raze the outdated buildings on our lower campus, raise the ground by four feet, and build a 60,000 square foot facility that will house the Experiential School, Lower School special subjects, all-school libraries and innovation labs, a new state-of-the-art Dining Hall, and more. The project will also create more than an acre of greenspace, including interesting play areas, and allow for students of all ages to convene together and connect across our PK-12 campus.

Safety and Security

Shorecrest is committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our students at all times. We are especially vigilant during this exciting time of change. The construction site is cocooned from the rest of campus with opaque fencing, and all workers and contractors are pre-screened, badged and confined to the construction areas. Further, our School Protection Officers will be on campus whenever construction is in progress. Students will not be permitted in proximity of the construction zone without being accompanied by a teacher.
