Before becoming the Director of Online Learning at Shorecrest in 2013, Chris taught exclusively in blended and online classrooms at Shorecrest and various online consortiums. Chris also supports and advises any Shorecrest student in an online class from providers around the world. His experience as a teacher is enhanced by his understanding of the student experience in online classes in a variety of disciplines. This experience allows Chris to meet teachers where they are and help them transition their great teaching in the classroom to great distance learning teaching. 

During Shorecrest’s transition to distance learning, Chris worked with the faculty in group and one-on-one sessions to build skills to match their distance learning aspirations.
