Technology is a driving force in the world today. It also introduces some remarkable opportunities at Shorecrest to expand what's possible for teaching and learning. To facilitate participation in Shorecrest 1:1 device programs, we are implementing a Family-Funded iPad and Mac Program, which offers families the option to access educational pricing to purchase their child's device.
7th - 8th Grade: Middle School students in grades 7-8 are required to bring an iPad to school, provided by their family. The Technology Team recommends families purchase an iPad or iPad Pro with at least 128GB (and keyboard). Shorecrest will provide key productivity and curricular iOS applications and a Help Desk to support students and families.
9th - 12th Grade: Upper School students are required to bring either an iPad and/or a Mac laptop to school, provided by their family. Windows laptops will not be supported. The Technology Team recommends families purchase the following:
- iPad - iPad or iPad Pro with at least 128GB (and keyboard)
- Laptop - MacBook Pro, MacBook or MacBook Air
