Upper School students, families, faculty, staff and honored guests gathered to recognize academic achievements and beyond in the Janet Root Theatre on May 20, 2022. Congratulations to all of our students for a very successful school year!
Sonoma Kasica '24 won the state title in javelin in all classes 1A-4A in Florida! This performance also made Sonoma the first two-time State Champion in the same event. Nine additional Chargers were top 8 finishes and made the podium.
There will be a Varsity Golf interest meeting on Wednesday, May 18, at 3:45pm on the Landy Deck (in front of the US office). This is an opportunity to meet Coach Miller and learn more about the golf program at Shorecrest before summer break.
The Shorecrest Varsity Girls Tennis Team finished the 2022 season with a solid Districts victory, a win at the Regionals semi-finals, and runner-up for Regionals overall.
Shorecrest hosted the track and field District 11 meet on Thursday, April 21. Twelve teams competed for a district title in the most competitive district in the state by far. After the day-long district competition, the Chargers boys ended the day taking home a hard fought 2nd place, district runner up trophy. After being the district runner-up last year, the girls came back to win the title in the end.
