HOW TO DONATE OLD TEXTBOOKS

by Zuri Patel '20, Books Committee Head
¡Hola! The Upper School Spanish Club sponsors many activities throughout the school year, but our online bookstore runs all year. We collect donations of used textbooks and then sell them online. At the end of the year, we take our profits and donate them to a children’s village in Los Mina, Dominican Republic, through SOS Children’s Villages. You can learn more about the village here

Clearing clutter is all the rage! Get those old books out of your closets and shelves, and into our hands. The students on the Book Committee work very hard throughout the year. It is a long process due to cataloging each book, finding an appropriate price, shipping it, etc.

Please consider donating any gently used textbooks that you may have. We accept books from all grades and all levels, including college. You can bring your textbooks to Landy Hall (Señora Pallares classroom) or contact us to schedule a pick up.  If it is more convenient for you, we can also pick them up from your house.
