"Cinderella" Auditions for LS Students

This April, Shorecrest Performing Arts will present the musical Rodgers + Hammerstein's "Cinderella."

There are four roles available for Lower School students in grades 2-4 to portray Cinderella’s woodland creature friends. Auditions will be held for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade Lower School Students on Saturday, February 2, 10-11:30am in the Black Box of the Janet Root Theatre. They should be good actors with a strong attention span and follow direction well. Please read the attached document for full audition and rehearsal expectations.

There are four roles available for Middle School students in grades 5-8 to portray Cinderella’s carriage horses and Prince Topher’s Heralds. Auditions were held for Middle School on Tuesday, January 29. Please read the attached document for full audition and rehearsal expectations.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Rodgers + Hammerstein's "Cinderella" is a Tony Award®-winning musical from the creators of "
South Pacific" and "The Sound of Music." The show originated as a Television Musical on CBS starring Julie Andrews as Cinderella in 1957. The Broadway production is currently on tour and is delighting audiences with its surprisingly contemporary take on the classic tale.
