Student art to be exhibited at NCECA

Krish Patel '22 had his ceramic sculpture, entitled "Blue Coral," accepted for exhibition during the National Conference on Education in Ceramic Arts next month in the K-12 national juried exhibition. NCECA draws close to 8000 students, educators and enthusiasts from around the world. Krish's work was selected from nearly 1000 submissions nationwide. The sculpture is close to three feet tall!

"I couldn't be more proud of Krish," said Upper School 3D Art Teacher Casey McDonough. "Our kids are working hard all the time, but these little moments of recognition outside of Shorecrest shine a light on how exceptional they truly can be."
