Global Readers brought the world to The Experiential School of Tampa Bay on February 27 by connecting Alpha and JK students with guest readers presenting picture books in foreign languages.

Shorecrest's International Connection group arranged for volunteers who engaged students and piqued their curiosity. Students made predictions, asked questions, and practiced saying a few new words in the language introduced by the Global Reader. Each class had a different visitor. The volunteers and languages represented were:
Zeina Katar - Arabic
Anne Britt-Hendenstorm - Norwegian
Nidhi Patel - Hindi
Thuy La - Vietnamese
Raffi Darrow - Hebrew
Lisette Hanawicz - Spanish
Mandy DeLeon - Japanese

More photos from the day are here.
