Contributing Charger: Dan Prasatthong '84

by Olivia Segalman, Director of Donor Relations and Advancement Services
This week’s Contributing Charger is Dr. Dan Prasatthong '84, an alumnus, a parent of alumna Senna Prasatthong-osoth ‘19, and a long-time supporter of the visual and performing arts at Shorecrest. His dental practice, Levitt and Prasatthong, DDS, PA, is this once again our annual Premiere Visual and Performing Arts Sponsor and this week’s Giving Day Sponsor.

“Shorecrest and the arts made my daughter, Senna ‘19, who she is today and who she will be tomorrow. So many wonderful memories I will have for the rest of my life will be from this part of her life. The Root family and I were friends and classmates, so I couldn't have been more proud when they saw my daughter perform.

What I enjoy about the community surrounding Shorecrest has changed as I got older. What I have found most important are the connections that do not disappear after graduation. The restaurants and stores, my doctors, my cars, my most trusted friends - are all from past and present relationships stemming from this school.

Even after all these decades, I attribute so much of my success to this school and how it prepared me for life.

I know my sponsorship will be used appropriately to further enhance the school and the student body. I have full trust in the Shorecrest Board of Trustees and the administration and faculty. Giving to this community is the best way to show true appreciation for what has provided so much. Pay it forward and make a difference for someone else.”

The impact of our Contributing Chargers is felt every day. When we make a gift or volunteer our time to Shorecrest, we are really just giving back to each other.
