Muscle Workout project

The Muscle Workout project was a culmination of the skeletal and muscle units in Shorecrest Upper School's Anatomy and Physiology classes taught by Lisa Peck.  

Guest expert Mia McComas, a physical therapy assistant, worked with the students in the Athletic Center Weight Room. She demonstrated how to stretch and work muscle groups using weights, bands and machines. Partners then took photos of themselves performing the exercises she modeled. The anatomy students worked in pairs to research their assigned muscle groups.

Finally the Chargers put all of their research and photos together to create slides for the Shorecrest Community. You can view the slides here:
