by Coach Idinge
District Semifinal: Varsity Girls Soccer beats Canterbury School of Florida 9-1!
With more than 22 shots resulting in 9 goals, the Chargers defeated Canterbury in a game that provided plenty of minutes for all players.

District Final: Varsity Girls Soccer beats Cambridge Christian 6-0!
An excellent shot with the left by Gabby Marshall ‘22 resulted in the first goal of the game and set the tone for the remaining 70 minutes. Tough field conditions made this a game about overcoming adversity. Olivia Tvedten ‘22 led the defense in preventing goals by the opponent. With more than 20 shots on goal, the Chargers offense was productive and demonstrated why they are ranked number one in the Region!

Regional Quarterfinal: Varsity Girls Soccer beats St. John Neuman 9-1!
The District 2A Champions will move on to the Regional semifinals after beating St. Johns Neumann 9-1 in the quarterfinal game! The Chargers had more than 20 shots on goal resulting in eight goals by four different girls: Gabby Marshall '22, Jessie Rosenblum '22, Kaja Dionne '24, and Addie Oman '24. Being a team sport, no one person wins the game. The Chargers’ defense held the opponent to just one shot! Our midfield was solid, dominating and controlling the play. The coaching staff had a plan in mind and the girls executed it to the best of their abilities despite the cold and rain.
One of the 3 goals scored by senior Jessie Rosenblum ‘22 was from a cross delivered by sophomore Addie Oman ‘24. Out of the 9 goals scored during the victory, 7 were by players scoring multiple goals. Gabby Marshall '22 scored two goals, Jessie Rosenblum ‘22 scored three goals, and Kaja Dionne '24 scored two goals. Addie Oman '24 contributed to the nine goal total with one goal.
