Help Upper School Robotics participate in CREATE National Championship

by Laina Coburn, Director of Philanthropic Giving
The Upper School Robotics Team 6104A has been invited to participate at the national level at the 2022 CREATE Championship, which will take place in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on April 7-9, 2022. The team earned the bid after they won the Design Award at the state competition in Fort Myers on February 5.

The Design Award is presented to a team that demonstrates an organized and professional approach to the design process and project/time management. The team’s Engineering Notebook and Judges Interview demonstrate the team’s ability to produce a quality robot with minimal adult assistance.

We are currently seeking individual or corporate sponsors to help make their trip to Nationals possible. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Laina Bennett Coburn, Director of Philanthropic Giving, at or 727-522-2111 x178. We look forward to cheering on team members Josef Broz ‘23, Danny Drysdale ‘22, Julian Pollack ‘24 and Dylan Winer ‘23, who have collectively invested more than 1,000 hours into their robot since April 2021!
