Instructor: Shorecrest teacher and parent, Takeya Trayer
Beginner level campers will be introduced to 2D and 3D stop motion animation while learning the principles of animation and storytelling. Using loose parts, cut paper and LEGOs, the children will work with a stop motion app and iMovie to develop a finished animation.
Intermediate level campers will review the principles of animation and dive into what makes a good character. We will also review storytelling with a focus on acting for animation. We will critique 2D and 3D short films. Campers will create a character and work with a stop motion app and iMovie to develop a finished animation.
