Lauren Brumbelow '24 in Concert, May 6

by Raffi Darrow, Ebytes Editor
Upper School Performing Arts invites the Shorecrest community to a special musical concert with singer Lauren Brumbelow '24. Enjoy an hour of original music on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 7pm in Shorecrest’s Janet Root Theatre.

Lauren explores themes of love, heartbreak, and more through her pop and pop-rock music. She hopes to premier songs that are relatable to both adult and teenage audiences. Some songs will be accompanied by Sofi Rosales '24 and the band “Very Real,” made up of Lauren’s friends and classmates: Jensen Hallock-Wishner ’24 - Lead Guitar; Andrew Myint ’25 - rhythm guitar; Ethan Creadon ’25 - bass; Michael Canizares ’22 - drums.

Seating will be assigned in pods in the order forms are received. Masks are optional indoors on campus. RSVP to reserve your free seat here.

Lauren Brumbelow is a 15 year old singer/songwriter and a sophomore at Shorecrest Preparatory School. She has been writing her own music for 3 years and is very excited to share her songs with others. She plays the piano, ukulele, and guitar. Her other hobbies include musical theatre, dance, and visual arts. She thanks her vocal and piano teacher Jamie for teaching her how to write and perform, and her guitar teacher Mr. Updike for putting this show together.
