Chargers Win French Poster Design Contest

by Hélène Simon, Middle School French Teacher
Each year the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) organizes a poster design contest for elementary and middle schoolers. Its goal is to encourage research on a theme related to the location of the Annual Convention. This July it will take place in New Orleans. The theme of the contest was "Autour de moi, la Francophonie / Around me, Francophonie."

Shorecrest Chargers Olivia M. '28 won first place and Gaston G. '26 won second place!
They will receive a monetary prize and their art will be highlighted on postcards at the convention. Félicitations Olivia et Gaston!
