Book Fair Leadership Positions

For the 2023 Book Fair, Shorecrest will partner with Tombolo Books, a local bookstore in downtown St. Petersburg. Thank you to those who have already offered to volunteer. As planning has commenced, our volunteer needs have evolved. To start, the committee is looking for two volunteers to assume two lead positions.

Head of Design: this person will spearhead the design and decor for the Book Fair. They will organize, brainstorm, execute and delegate tasks required. They will work closely with the Chair and other volunteers. Attention to detail and creative imagination are a must.

Community Liaison: this person will arrange participation outside of the Shorecrest community while maintaining focus on the overall goal and theme of the event. They will be responsible for coordinating set up, sales execution, and sales decisions. They will work closely with the Chair, Shorecrest staff, and community vendors.
