The Chargers arrived for the first Saturday game of the season ready to show the Florida panhandle team how St. Petersburg plays soccer. With several starts absent, a new lineup created opportunities for more playing time and different positions. In the end, the Chargers best effort resulted in few offensive opportunities and a loss to South Walton.
Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Clearwater High: 8-0 Win!
It was Senior Night on Haskell Field with the Chargers facing off against the Tornadoes of Clearwater High. A weaker opponent provided an opportunity for many players to see time on the field. The highlight was goals by both seniors with Mylie McDonough '23 scoring three goals and Taylor Register '23 finishing off the game with the final goal before the half.
JV Boys Soccer vs. Calvary: 6-2 Loss.
JV Boys Soccer vs. Clearwater Central Catholic: 0-0 Tie.
It was a great final game of season. "I can't be more proud of this JV group this year in the ways they conducted themselves and the effort they put in," shared Coach Sukaratana.
