Chargers Athletics Welcomes Jason Taylor

Shorecrest Chargers Athletics is excited to share that Jason Taylor, Varsity Softball coach, has stepped into a new role within the Shorecrest Athletics Department. Taylor is now also acting as Athletics Assistant. 

In this role, he will be working weekday afternoons in the Athletics Center office communicating with parents, checking the accuracy of our team rosters and schedules, assisting with transportation coordination, helping with concessions, and supporting game-day officials as they navigate our facilities. Taylor will be the point person to help troubleshoot athletic-related needs in the late afternoon. He will work closely with Melinda Holmes, Assistant Athletics Director for Operations. 

Taylor brings nearly three decades of experience in the corporate world as a marketing and operations director where he worked internationally on digital and print advertising. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sport and entertainment management with a minor in business from the University of South Carolina. He and his wife, Jessica, have two daughters who are Chargers, Josephine ‘29 and Mallory ‘29.
