Sarah Finnemore Palazzolo, along with guest experts, will provide teachers with the necessary building blocks to implement a successful and authentic reading workshop routine in independent school classrooms. Through this comprehensive three-day seminar, participants will learn how to assess students in order to match instruction to their readers, enhance their students’ reading experience and accelerate their progress.
Seminar sessions will focus on conferring with 2nd-5th grade readers, planning interactive read alouds, writing effective mini-lessons and much more!
Earn 18 hours toward recertification.
Minimum Participants: 8; Maximum Participants: 25
Cost: $250 (Includes professional texts, binders with session content, reading assessments, children’s books to use for instruction, coffee, light breakfast and snacks.)
