The 3, 4 and 5 year old program at Shorecrest is The Experiential School (formerly Early Childhood Center or ECC, updated in 2014)
School abbreviation is ES
Official name is The Experiential School
Simply “Experiential School” when used as a modifier ex. “Experiential School students”
Abbreviations for the 4 schools [The Experiential School (ES), Lower School (LS), Middle School (MS), Upper School (US)] are capitalized; school names are always proper nouns
SCA – Shorecrest Community Association (formerly SPA, changed 2015)
College Center; College Counseling Team (confirmed 2015)
The Upper School week-long dedication to service is Service Week (formerly Minimester, as of 2015)
Makerspace is one word; it is not a proper noun
Relay For Life has a capital F, whereas Habitat for Humanity does not.

When writing about alumni - after identifying an alumnus/a with full name and graduation year, he or she may be noted by their last name only. Example
“Georgia Lenas ’15 won the national Silver Medal for visual art at the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Lenas is the first Shorecrest student to win a national medal from Scholastic in visual art.”
