When will the store open for business?
The Shorecrest Online Bookstore will open to families on July 21 for the 2016-2017 school year. You may begin purchasing required materials as soon as the site is opened.
How do I find my student’s schedule?
Student schedules will be published through the Family Access Module (FAM) no later than July 19. FAM can be accessed at https://familyaccess.inresonance.com/shorecrest/index.php
or from the Parents page of shorecrest.org.How will I know which course materials to order?
The ClassBook.com system synchronizes with our student information system each day. This means that your student's schedule is linked directly to the materials you need to purchase for each class. You will need to use your child's Shorecrest email to purchase books.
Not all of my student’s courses are showing up, what does that mean?
Not all courses have materials available on ClassBook.com. Some teachers will be distributing materials to students through the school’s learning management system, Haiku
. Textbooks for online courses are not distributed through ClassBook.com. They will come directly from the online teacher when the course begins.How will my student access their digital books and materials?
Students will receive an email from ClassBook.com on Thursday, August 11 with instructions on how to access the website/app and redeem their books. Step-by-step directions on how to redeem books are available as a link on this page adn will be sent out to families on August 10.
What does ClassBook.com’s digital access fee cover?
ClassBook.com charges a flat digital access fee of $15 for each student who purchases digital materials. This fee covers costs to 1) process digital orders with individual publishers, 2) load digital orders into their system, and 3) setup codes on their website for student access.
How can I check the status of an order?
Click on the ‘Order Status’ tab at the top of the Shorecrest online bookstore site to check the status of your order. You will need your Order ID# to use this search feature.
What is ClassBook.com’s return policy?
From ClassBook.com: “Returns amounts are based on the number of days from the date of purchase. If the first day of class is greater than the date of purchase, we will use that date to calculate refund amounts. There is no risk purchasing your books early. 0 to 30 days (full refund), 31 to 45 days (10% restocking fee), 46 to 60 days (20% restocking fee), 61 to 90 days (50% restocking fee), and 91 and over (75% restocking fee). A book with writing in it will be considered used regardless of the condition that it was purchase in. All restocking fees listed above will be applied to the used book price in this situation. All digital books are final sale and not refundable.”
