Hall of Fame Criteria & Eligibility

Criteria for Selection
  • Inductees must have made significant contributions to Shorecrest Athletics
  • Individuals should have exemplary character and citizenship.
  • Inductees must be positive role models for current students.
  • Individuals must be outstanding leaders.
  • A students academic and/or extracurricular record should be considered in the selection.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Past athletes, coaches, supporters or teams are eligible for induction.
  • An alumnus must have attended Shorecrest for a minimum of three years.
  • At least six years shall have passed since the individual's graduation year
    (Alumni who graduated in 2011 and before are eligible in the 2017
    selection year).
  • Nominees will be contacted after the initial nomination to accept their nomination and add supplemental information.
  • Selections will be announced in the summer of each year.
  • Nominators and nominees will be notified about selection status before Shorecrest publically announces the inductees.
  • Nominees will be considered for three years after their initial nomination.
