SCA Shorecrest Cares Committee - Supporting Our Community

by Kristin Leary, Shorecrest Cares Committee Chair
The SCA Shorecrest Cares Committee is a quiet, behind-the-scenes group of volunteers that makes a big impact where the Shorecrest community needs it most. Shorecrest Cares responds to community members' needs when there is an illness, death, or other difficult situation. The support can take many forms, from food delivery to childcare arrangements, depending on the needs of the family.

The Committee members worked quickly to help organize the memorial for the Weiss family just 2 days after learning of the tragedy. Similarly, they provided lunch for the Shorecrest Upper School faculty on the first school day of 2018 as a gesture of support. With the recent loss of faculty member Monica Stypinski, the Shorecrest Cares Committee is in action yet again to help support the family during this difficult time.

If you would like to get involved with the Shorecrest Cares Committee, please contact Committee Chair Kristin Leary via email at floridalearys@tampabay.rr.com or via text at 727-667-0616.

If your family or someone you know is experiencing a challenge where Shorecrest Cares can help, please contact Mr. Murphy or Julie Meyer at 727-456-7505 or
jmeyer@shorecrest.org.
