Welcome to Shorecrest

Choosing Shorecrest means becoming a part of a vibrant community! We integrate our challenging academic curriculum with a multitude of opportunities to discover and nurture individual interests — in the arts, on the athletic fields, through community service and beyond. From day one, we encourage students to strive for their best and brightest future — as well-rounded, socially responsible, lifelong learners.
Shorecrest seeks students who will benefit most from attending the school and who will contribute to the well-being of the school community. Admission is based on selective criteria that may include standardized testing, classroom observation, prior school record, teachers’ recommendations and good character. In making a decision, the Admissions Committee may give special consideration to faculty and/or staff children. While we welcome all inquiries and applications, we regret we are not able to accept every qualified applicant based on our capacity.

We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child throughout the admissions process. Every applicant is an exciting new puzzle, and the admissions process helps us put the individual pieces together to create a completed picture for each new face.

Our school adheres to the Principles of Good Practice as outlined by the National Association of Independent Schools. Shorecrest Preparatory School accepts applications from students regardless of age, race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or socio-economic status, national or ethnic origin.

We can't wait to meet you!
