Admission

Expect a highly selective admissions process, including an essay and interviews with Head of Upper School, Director of College Counseling, and the Head of School.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year. Once a student’s application is completed, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. The decision to offer admission is made with consideration for the student’s qualifications and the availability of openings.

  • ESSAY RESPONSE

    Submit your essay response in the application portal.
  • SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

    The following documents can be submitted in the portal or via email (admissions@shorecrest.org), fax, mail, or in person.
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Photo
    • High school transcript including academic record and proof of high school graduation
    • Teacher Recommendation (English and Math preferred). We will consider a letter of recommendation written by a non-family member adult (e.g., employer, coach, mentor) who knows the candidate well, however the Admissions Committee prefers one letter to be written by an individual from an academic institution who can comment on the applicant's potential for success in a rigorous academic program.

  • SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW & VISIT

    Schedule virtual interviews with the Head of School, Head of Upper School and Director of Admissions. The admissions department will schedule a tour date with you. You can also request a tour here
