Coed, independent, PK3-12th grade school in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Welcome to Shorecrest

Thank you for your interest in Shorecrest. I am Alvanita Hope, Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid. I am also the mother of two Chargers, Class of 2031 and 2025! We moved from Atlanta, GA, to St. Petersburg in June 2021, and as a family we couldn’t be happier with our choice. It is my hope that you and your family will have a similar experience in getting to know the Shorecrest community.

At Shorecrest, our mission is to educate a diverse community of students to become lifelong learners in the pursuit of personal and academic excellence, physical well-being, creative achievement and the development of a commitment to social responsibility. In our community we emphasize the core values of Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Knowledge and Compassion. Our school community is home to more than 1,000 students, ages 3-years-old through twelfth grade, and each student is known, challenged and cared for by our loving and experienced faculty. Here, we consider each member of our school as an individual who has something unique to contribute to our community and to the world.

The Shorecrest Enrollment Management Team is excited to share Shorecrest with you. We look forward to getting to know your family and partnering with you as you select an educational community for your child. It is one of the most important decisions that you will make for your family. Please be sure to complete an inquiry form so we can reach out to begin the conversation.

In the meantime, you can experience Shorecrest through a number of ways. Come and join us for a campus tour to explore the opportunities that await your child at Shorecrest. Read our weekly newsletter, Ebytes, to see the new and exciting things our students are doing, or consider joining our social media community on Instagram or Facebook to see snapshots of life at Shorecrest. We also encourage you to connect with our Parent Ambassadors to learn about their experiences as Chargers.

Again, we are delighted that you are considering your family to be a part of our community.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the Admissions team if you have any questions. We are here to be a resource to you during this process.

Go Chargers!
