Upper School Performing Arts invites the Shorecrest community to a special musical concert with singer Sofi Rosales '24. Please RSVP for this free community event. Doors open at 6:45pm with general seating. A small reception will take place in the theatre lobby immediately following the concert.
Sofi is a 17-year-old junior at Shorecrest who has been playing guitar for four years. She is self-taught with the exception of taking a guitar class last year with Mr. Updike, Shorecrest Band Director. Her music is inspired by her life experiences as well as the creative experiences within her imagination. With her folk-pop and acoustic sound, Sofi is a storyteller in concert. She has written a complete album entitled “Phobia,” which she hopes to finish recording this year. Sofi is excited to perform her first single from that album, “Green Eyed Monster,” which was released in August 2022, along with other original songs she’s written.
