The Shorecrest Fund is our main fundraising priority and we encourage all Shorecrest families to participate annually. Gifts to the Shorecrest Fund are designed to support the people and programs within our community.
Thoughtful integration of technology into our curriculum helps Shorecrest students take risks and think differently. We are proud of our longstanding commitment to innovation, implementing new technologies and expanding students' preparedness for their futures.
Shorecrest’s commitment to community service is demonstrated through our full-time Director of Service Learning, who implements a year-round Service Learning program for our community and an additional week dedicated for service in Upper School.
At Shorecrest, 50% of our faculty and staff have advanced degrees from the most prestigious universities across the country, like Harvard University and Columbia University. The Shorecrest Fund provides professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to pursue advanced degrees, certifications and peer collaboration. Our greatest asset is our faculty and staff, so supporting them helps us sustain the level of teaching a Shorecrest education requires.
Shorecrest is the only school in Tampa Bay with a Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning. The Center is a professional development destination for future-focused teachers and school leaders across the country.
Shorecrest is a place where differences are celebrated and each member of our community feels valued and respected. We are constantly evolving to build a community reflective of the world we live in.
Shorecrest is seen as a leading independent school in the Tampa Bay area and nationwide— we answer the hard questions, we strive for excellence in all pursuits and create new industry standards for education. The Shorecrest Fund allows us the flexibility and creativity to add impact and value to the education we provide.
Philanthropic gifts demonstrate our community’s commitment to providing a transformational educational experience.
Tuition only covers about 88% of our school's operating costs - which includes salaries, utilities, maintenance, protection officers, SAGE Dining service and more.
Through your annual participation you provide essential academic opportunities for all Chargers. In short: their future success depends on your support today.
Your gift, no matter the size, helps us fulfill our mission!
Your Choice Today. Their Success Tomorrow.
We understand that your dollars are carefully invested. We ask that you make Shorecrest one of your philanthropic priorities each and every year by:
