The Grandparent Council encourages grandparents to get involved at Shorecrest and get to know each other. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Shorecrest from volunteering in the library, to helping with the Lower School gardening program, helping with art or athletic activities and more.
The Council organizes several social and learning activities during the school year including Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Attendees enjoy getting to know fellow grandparents and learning more about Shorecrest.

Grandparent Gatherings
Grandparent Gatherings are social opportunities to meet with other Shorecrest Grandparents over coffee, a meal or an activity. The purpose of the group is to develop a sense of community among grandparents and share grandchildren stories and photos! It is a great way to meet fellow grandparents while learning more about Shorecrest.
Gatherings are informal and welcoming with no obligations other than to enjoy.
