Eighth grader Leddon Z has chosen to help promote blood drives on the Shorecrest campus with One Blood for his eighth grade Passion Project, and every year moving forward through high school. Find out why in his own words:
"In eighth grade we are required to pick a topic of interest for our Passion Project. When I started thinking about what was important to me, family came to mind first. Years ago, my Grandmother needed a blood transfusion. She was able to have several more years with us all due to a blood transfusion."
"Did you know a donation of one pint of blood can save three lives?! We each carry the gift that gives life to others. Please consider giving your gift, and look for the big red bus at Shorecrest on Wednesday, April 26 all day to Give Life!"
