Author Visit with Lindsay Currie

Shorecrest was thrilled to host New York Times Bestselling author Lindsay Currie in the Janet Root Theater last Wednesday. Students from grades 3-8 had an amazing time with Ms. Currie. She gave Chargers the inside scoop on her bestselling book, "The Mystery of Locked Rooms," and talked about how she finds writing inspiration in the spookiest of places... graveyards! Ms. Currie also took the time to have lunch with the Middle School students who are participating in Battle of the Books this year. 

From wandering through old cemeteries to digging up local history, she showed our students how she turns real-life chills into page-turning, spooky mysteries. The visit offered a fun and spooky reminder that inspiration and learning can be found in the most unexpected places!
