Varsity Softball - 2 Wins!

Shorecrest Varsity Softball had a great week with two 17-run wins. The team came together with a tough offense, each player making important contributions to each game.
Chargers 17, St. Pete Catholic 6
The whole team did great in a 17-6 win against St. Pete Catholic on Tuesday. Ashlee B. and Summer F. led the offense with a homerun each. Ashlee also contributed a double and two singles, batting 0.800 for the day. Asha S. and Hannah L. both pitched to lead the team to victory, earning a combined six strikeouts.
Chargers 17, Clearwater Central Catholic 1
The Chargers played a great game Wednesday against Clearwater Central Catholic. Asha S. pitched exceptionally well in the 17-1 win, earning six strikeouts and holding CCC to just one run.
The Charger offense came alive, scoring 10 runs in the top of the first inning. Rachel, as the designated player, led the team with an 0.800 on base average, scoring three runs for the Chargers and earning four RBIs.
Shorecrest softball is looking forward to three tough games next week against Indian Rocks Christian (at home Tuesday 4pm), Northside Christian (away), and Bradenton Christian (away).
