SECOND GRADERS VISIT MOSI

On May 3, the second graders enjoyed a field experience at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa. There they visited Kids in Charge, the largest science center for children in the nation. They got to play with a pendulum, freeze their shadow and lay on a bed of nails. Fun was had in every direction!
At the Saunders Planetarium they discovered the stars and gazed in awe at the universe as they toured the night sky with a MOSI astronomer. Later they visited the butterfly garden which also featured carnivorous plants.
