Kindergarten Living / Nonliving Study Leads to New Class Pets [video]

Lower School News

Middle School Head Jonathan Davis visited kindergarten as a pet expert to share about the many pets his family has. Did you know he has pet chickens? He brought a chicken to share, which prompted the students to ask if they could have chickens at school. Kindergarten classes co-wrote a letter to Dr. Bianco, Head of The Experiential and Lower Schools. Students then walked the letter down to her office. She said she had to think it over and research what it would entail.

On Monday Dr. Bianco said yes to new chickens on campus! Eggs have arrived in kindergarten and were put in an incubator. In 21 days kindergarten should have chicks!
