December 5-11, 2022, is Computer Science Education Week. During that week, Shorecrest students will participate in the Hour of CodeTM. The Hour of CodeTM is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Coding is not just for computer programmers anymore! Coding promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills.
Shorecrest is hosting two “Code with Your Kid” Workshops for all interested families in grades K-4. Learn alongside your child(ren) as they explore a variety of programming applications and coding software as part of Hour of CodeTM. Open to students in grades K-4. No younger siblings please.
