Real Tools, Real Wood in Kindergarten

In the Outdoor Classroom, kindergarteners took turns this week experimenting with wood, hammers, nails, and jar lids. These open ended materials allow the children to create by upcycling and focus on their hand-eye coordination. When finished at the work bench, they decorated their designs with Sharpie markers. The real tools and materials were very enticing, and no fingers were harmed!
