Ms. Horne is an avid lover of math. Since her teaching career began, she's been holding a friendly competition with her students. She gives them the opportunity to memorize as many digits of pi as possible - and recite them for the class around Pi Day, March 14. The winner gets to throw a whipped cream pie in her face!
This year, Lana Marie W '31 set a new record for the competition by reciting 90 digits of pi correctly. Close runner-ups were Gauraansh S '31 and Bambina A '31 with 52 digits recited correctly.
