BEST ADVICE: "There are some things you just can't logic your way through," Soltoff said. "Sometimes you fall in love with something you didn't expect." Ellenburg, speaking of the legacy of Shorecrest's playful seniors, added: "Wherever we end up — whether it's college, graduate school, a temporary job or a career — we need to remember to enjoy every moment and continue to play. For that's how we'll learn and experience life to its fullest potential."

CLASS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: The class of 2014 graduated with a 3.84 grade-point average and with two National Merit Scholars, Adrianna and James Wenz Jr. This class also tied for largest with the class of 2011. Also, 97 percent of the class got scholarship offers totaling $7.5 million.
CLASS SONG: Shorecrest theater students performed The Song of Purple Summer by Duncan Sheik.
