Two Seniors Named National Merit Scholars

Seniors and siblings, Adrianna Wenz and James Wenz Jr. '14, have been selected as two of this year's 2,500 nationwide Merit Scholar designees in the National Merit Scholarship program. They will each receive a $2,500 college scholarship through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Both Adrianna and James plan to attend Brown University in Rhode Island.

Recipients were chosen from a talent pool of more than 15,000 outstanding Finalists. National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winners are the Finalists in each state judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
