SPS at St. Petersburg Science Festival

Twelve eighth graders were part of the Junior Scientist Program at the St. Petersburg Science Festival at USF last week. They assistaed several scientists and interacted with visiting school groups. In addition, one student helped in the Southwest Florida Water Management District booth and another helped a group called Image of Florida. It was a beautiful day to be out in the community, and the students surprised themselves as educators and experts in subjects they could teach to other young people their own ages.
