Middle School performers entertained audeinces last Friday in our 11th Annual Middle School Variety Show! Jr. Thespian Troupe 88197 performed many of their award-winning acts as part of the show, held in the Janet Root Theatre. 

The full list of acts included:
  • The new MS a capella group Pending singing "The Greatest Show" from the film "The Greatest Showman" For her eighth grade Passion Project, Zara P created this MS a cappella group.
  • "This Is Me" from the film "The Greatest Showman" - solo by Rachel S. (6th)
  • "What the iPhone X Really Is" - a comedic monologue of Ellen DeGenres by Ziad H. (5th)
  • "The Little Mermaid" - skit - Phoenix B & Grace W. (7th)
  • "Light It Up" - light and dance routine - Sophia J, Lili S, Bella T, Ali T (5th)
  • "Lost Boy" by Ruth B. Duet a cappella by Emerson H & Daisy N (5th)
  • "When I Grow Up" from Broadway's "Matilda the Musical," a trio by Holland B, Jolie B, Alissa S (7th)
  • "Riptide" - solo and guitar by Ava Harris (6th)
  • "Maniac" dance routine by Colleen G (6th)
  • "Kimmy & Kelly" - duet acting by Ellie L & Brooke W (8th)
  • "Ring of Keys" from Broadway's "Fun Home." A solo by Holland B (7th)
  • "Rodolpho" from "A View from the Bridge" monologue by Cían M (8th)
  • "Look What Happened to Mabel" from "Mack & Mabel." Solo sung by Stella P (8th)
  • "Walking - Variation One" - Grace W (7th)
  • "What is This Feeling?" a duest from "Wicked" by Ava H & Sofi R (6th)
  • "Dream," an original song written and performed by Holland B & Jolie B (7th) 
  • "Chandelier" by Sia, solo at piano by Stella P (8th)
  • "Don't Wanna Be Here" - solo by Brooke W (8th)
  • "Safer" - solo by Sofi R (6th)
  • "Walking - Variation Two" - Phoenix B (7th)
  • "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now" - dance - Allie K (7th)
  • "I'm the Greatest Star" - solo by Ellie L (8th)
  • "Why God Why" from "Miss Saigon," solo by Cían M (8th)
  • "Calm, Cool, and Collected" - duet by Stella P & Brooke W (8th)
  • "Walking - Variation Three" - Sofia A (7th), Colleen G, & Rachel S. (6th)
  • "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart - solo with guitar by Chris M (8th)
  • "I Really, Really, Love You" - solo by Sofia A (7th)
  • "Falling Slowly" from "Once," a quartet by the evening's MCs: Ellie L, Cían M, Stella P, & Brooke W (8th)
