Student Art Wins French Contest

Middle School News Arts

Each year the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) organizes a poster contest for elementary and middle schoolers. Its goal is to encourage research on a theme related to the French and Francophone world. This July, Paris and France are hosting the Summer Olympics, and thus the theme of the contest was Paris, Paris, les Jeux Olympiques ici (Paris, Paris, the Olympic Games here.)

Bailey D. '31 won first place in the digital category. Lauren K. '30 and Maëlle G '30 won second place in the digital and traditional category, respectively. They will receive a monetary prize and their art will be highlighted on postcards at the annual convention.

Félicitations Bailey, Lauren et Maëlle!
