Auditions: MS Production of “All Shook Up”

Auditions for the MS Musical Production of “All Shook Up - Young@Part” are coming up for students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades.

Auditions will be held in the MS Music Room:

    Tues, August 26 3:15-5:30pm – Music/Movement
    Wed, August 27 3:15-5:30pm –  Acting for Roles 
    Thurs, August 28 3:15-5:30pm – Call Backs

Rehearsals begin Friday, August 29 3:15-5pm and run after school Monday through Friday as called. Performances will be November 6, 7 and 8 in Shorecrest's Janet Root Theatre.

This crowd-pleasing musical is inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley^®. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that will have you jumping out of your blue suede shoes with classics such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” 

ALL SHOOK UP Young@Part^® is the authorized 60-minute edition of the Broadway musical for middle schools and youth theatres. This new version of the show is tailor-made for younger actors. Songs and scenes are edited for time and content, while keeping the spirit of the original Broadway show intact.
