SCA Board Nominations
The Shorecrest Community Association (SCA) is Shorecrest's version of a PTA or Parents' Association. All Shorecrest families are automatically a part of SCA, and there are no registrations and no dues. SCA sponsors opportunities for all Shorecrest community members to participate in events, activities, and services that support and enhance the educational, social, and fundraising needs of the Shorecrest community.
SCA is managed by a Board including a President, Vice President, Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator. All positions have a suggested two year commitment and are often shared by 2 parent volunteers. All volunteers must be aligned with the School's Mission and conduct themselves in adherence to Shorecrest’s Core Values: Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Knowledge and Compassion.
You may nominate yourself or an eager volunteer to join the SCA Board for the 2026-2027 school year! The deadline to nominate is April 15, 2026. SCA will announce 2026-2027 leadership at the SCA Volunteer Thank You Event on Wednesday, April 22 (save the date!)
