First 420 Regatta of the Season

The breeze was on at Jensen Beach where the Shorecrest sailing Chargers competed in their first 420 regatta of the season. Varsity skippers Elizabeth S. and Heather K., along with the able crewing of Lily S. and Zach O., respectively, led the Chargers to a 7th place finish out of 20 schools represented.
Meanwhile, skippers Chris S. and Ethan D. along with Victoria F. as crew, swept all the junior varsity races!

Although the long, strenuous day on the water meant the sailors arrived late for the Homecoming Dance, it was well worth the effort. Next weekend, the team travels to Hollywood, FL, for the second SAISA South Points event.
